5vs5 On-Line Tournaments Info & Rules!

We are glad to announce that 2 on-line tournaments will be held on 10-11/10 (October) and 14-15/11 (Νovember) in co-operation with Athens Gaming League in order to have fun and to give the opportunity to the teams to train for the finals which will be held on 19-20/12 in an exhibition center at Athens with 2.500Euro Prizes(more information soon).
Aside the glory and fame they will get, the tournament winning teams will get a ticket for the Athens finals on 19-20/12, which means free registration!

1.General Information
The tournament's system will be single elimination (knock-out). The opponents of the 1st round matches will be randomly selected by software and in the next rounds a generated tournament tree will be followed. There will be a maximum of 32 team slots and all users will have the right to participate, however the same player cannot be declared in two different teams.
2.Ιn Game Rules
The tournament will be on-line and the games will be hosted by HostBots for easier statistics collection and replays, therefore the Garena platform won't be used.(except if both teams agree to play their game on garena)! The tournament map will be the current stable edition according to the site: http://www.getdota.com .
The game mode will be -cm.
2.1. In case of a Leaver
In case of a PC problem during the game, the team leader has the right to save the game and ask for a reload. After 20 minutes of playing, in case of an unpredicted PC error, the game will continue as normal.
(the leaver's hero can be used as the team wishes).
2.2 Cheating
There will be no place for cheating. If somebody is caught cheating, the tournament admins will decide for his punishment.
2.3 Boosting
It is prohibited to give or buy items for your team-mates(boosting).
‘Sharing’ and ‘Enemy’ Items are excluded.
In the case where boosting of a player has taken place, 1 warn point will be given to the team. If the boosting contibuted in the team's victory, this team will automatically lose the game.
2.4 Manners
Badmanners and ironic comments are prohibited and the only players permitted to speak during a game are the team leaders. Each team has the right to ask for a pause -from the leader of the opposing team- up to 3 times with a duration of 3min per pause in each game.
If there is a major issue the team leader should talk to a tournament Αdministrator and report the problem.
Whenever a game ends, the result should be reported to a tournament Administrator.
2.5 Creepskiping-Backdoor
Creepskiping is permitted.
In the new DotA versions the towers and the barracks, when there are no creeps in the adjacent area and the enemy hero is attacking them, have auto-regenaration that can reach up to 100%. Therefore backdoor is not prohibited.
2.6 Veto-Warns
If a team believes that an admin's decision or another issue has been a factor that led to an injust outcome then the team can declare a Veto, in which case the team leader will discuss with the Admins about the problem.
Any offence by a team will be punished with a Warn by the Admins. If a team receives 2 warns in a game then that team automatically loses the game.
In case a team receives 3 warns in total in the tournament, then that team will be disqualified.
In addition, if a Veto is declared for a non-existing or non-important reason then the team declaring the Veto will receive 1 warn. Therefore each team should be carefull with its choices.
2.7 Exploiting
The exploiting of bugs is prohibited. If somebody is caught exploiting a bug, the tournament admins will decide for his punishment.
2.8 Item Restrictions

3.Ventrilo
There is the possibility of Ventrilo use during the games if a team wishes. Our ventrilo server information are:

Είμαστε στην ευχάριστη θέση να σας ανακοινώσουμε την διεξαγωγή 2 on-line τουρνουά με ημερομηνίες 10-11/10 (Οκτωβρίου) και 14-15/11 (Νοεμβρίου) σε συνεργασία με το Athens Gaming League με απώτερο σκοπό την διασκέδαση αλλά και την εξάσκηση των ομάδων για τα μεγάλα τελικά τα οποία θα διεξαχθούν στις 19-20/12 σε εκθεσιακό χώρο στην Αθήνα με συνολικά έπαθλα 2.500 Ευρώ(πληροφορίες σύντομα).
Οι νικήτριες ομάδες των τουρνουά θα εκτός από την δόξα και την διαφήμιση που θα αποσπάσουν θα κερδίσουν και το εισιτήριο τους για τα τελικά στην Αθήνα στις 19-20/12 δηλαδή δωρεάν εγγραφή!
1.General Information
Το σύστημα του τουρνουά θα είναι single elimination κοινός knock-out. H 1η κλήρωση θα γίνει τυχαία μέσω προγράμματος ενώ στην συνέχεια θα ακολουθεί ανάλογα με το δέντρο που θα δημιουργηθεί. Τα slots θα είναι 32 maximum και δικαίωμα συμμετοχής έχουνε όλοι οι παίχτες αρκεί ένας παίχτης να μην δηλωθεί με 2 ομάδες.
2.Ιn Game Rules
Το τουρνουά θα είναι on-line στο οποίο τα games θα φιλοξενούνται από HostBots για την καλύτερη ευκολία στατιστικών και replays οπότε δεν θα χρειαστεί η πλατφόρμα Garena (εκτός αν και οι 2 ομάδες θέλουνε το game να παιχτεί garena)! Το map των αγώνων θα είναι το παρών stable βάση του site: http://www.getdota.com .
Το mode θα είναι -cm.
2.1. Περίπτωση Leaver
Σε περίπτωση πιθανού προβλήματος με κάποιο pc κατά την ώρα των αγώνων ο leader της ομάδας έχει το δικαίωμα να κάνει save game και να ζητήσει reload. Μετά το πέρας των 20 λεπτών σε κάποιο απρόσμενο σφάλμα υπολογιστή το παιχνίδι συνεχίζετε κανονικά
(o leaver μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί όπως θέλει η ομάδα).
2.2 Cheating
Δεν θα υπάρχει καμία κατανόηση σε θέματα κλεψίματος (Cheating) .Εάν κάποιος
παίχτης βρεθεί να κλέβει, οι admins θα αποφασίσουν για την τιμωρία του.
2.3 Boosting
Απαγορεύεται να αγοράζετε ή να δίνετε αντικείμενα σε συμπαίκτες σας (boosting).
Εξαιρούνται τα ‘Sharing’ και τα ‘Enemy’ Items.
Σε περίπτωση που πραγματοποιηθεί boosting κάποιου παίκτη, δίνεται 1 warn point στην ομάδα. Αν το boosting συνετέλεσε στην νίκη της ομάδας θα χάνει αυτόματα το παιχνίδι.
2.4 Manner
Απαγορεύονται αυστηρά οι βρισιές τα ειρωνικά και άλλα κακοπροαίρετα σχόλια και ο μόνος που έχει δικαίωμα να μιλήσει κατά την διάρκεια του game είναι ο leader της κάθε ομάδας. Η κάθε ομάδα έχει το δικαίωμα να ζητήσει πάγωμα (pause) -από τον αντίπαλο leader- του παιχνιδιού μέχρι 3 φορές από διάρκεια 3 λεπτών στο κάθε game.
Αν οι λόγοι είναι σοβαροί της ομάδας τότε θα μιλάει με έναν Αdministrator του τουρνουά ώστε να αναφέρει το πρόβλημά του.
Όταν θα τελειώνει ο αγώνας θα αναφέρετε το αποτέλεσμα σε έναν Administrator του τουρνουά.
2.5 Creepskiping-Backdoor
Tο creepskiping θεωρείτε νόμιμο.
Στις νέες εκδόσεις τα towers και τα barracks όταν δεν υπάρχουν creep στην περιοχή και ο αντίπαλος ήρωας τα βαράει έχουνε auto regeneration που μπορεί να αγγίξει και το 100%. Οπότε το backdoor δεν θα τιμωρείται.
2.6 Veto-Warns
Αν κάποια ομάδα θεωρήσει ότι έχει αδικηθεί από Αdmin ή από περιστατικό τότε θα μπορεί να ασκήσει Veto όπου θα συζητήσει ο Leader της ομάδας με τους Admins το πρόβλημα του.
Οποιαδήποτε παράπτωμα από ομάδα θα τιμωρείται με Warn από τους Admins. Αν μια ομάδα δεχθεί 2 warn σε ένα παιχνίδι τότε αυτόματα χάνει το παιχνίδι.
Αν μια ομάδα δεχτεί συνολικά 3 warn στο τουρνουά τότε σημαίνει και τον αποκλεισμό της.
Επίσης, αν το Veto ασκηθεί για ανούσιο λόγο τότε η ομάδα που το άσκησε θα δέχεται ποινή (1 warn). Για αυτό πρέπει η ομάδα να προσέχει στις κινήσεις της.
2.7 Εκμετάλλευση (Exploiting)
Η εκμετάλλευση κάποιων προβλημάτων (bugs) απαγορεύεται. Εάν κάποιος παίχτης βρεθεί να εκμεταλλεύεται τέτοια προβλήματα, οι admin θα αποφασίσουν για την τιμωρία του.
2.8 Περιορισμός Items

3.Ventrilo
