    Oh, that was a technical limitation. Not even technical maybe, but we really didn't want to make players to re-experience the whole story. You already had to explore again the house, albeit in a different form. Plus, the really important clues, such as the pills in the main bedroom, are noticed.

    maybe because he was looking for something else.
    As he's a journalist he should have heard rumors about Robin, spread by the vandals. He wanted to see if it was real as he was sent to the manor.
    That's probably why he wasn't running fast: he was expecting what happened.

    Both of them run... but if you want a logical explanation as to why Peter runs slow, then keep in mind he didn't know the place very well. Satisfied? :P
