    Default Wintermute

    Hey Steve

First, very nice work with So Blonde. I'm really waiting to play it.

I was wondering, Initially I heard it was developed using Wintermute, later I heard you abandoned it in favor of a different enigne.
Can you tell us what engine are you using now for it, and why did you change from Wintermute ?

    Thanks for the kind words.

To be honest, I've really kept out of the technical side of things and simply left all that to the Wizarbox guys. This allowed me to concentrate on the creativity, which is better for the game in the long term.

I know that they have a great deal of respect for the Wintermute Engine (as do I), but I know that being a go-ahead company they wanted to develop their own engine. All I know about it is that it uses Ogre3D.

I'm not involved in the development process but I can show you a nice comparison pic between the Wintermute Engine Wizarbox started developing with and the Ogre Engine which will be in the final game:

It's interesting to see the small changes over time.
