Hi Jens!

Congrats on a great game. I bought Penumbra Overture just last weekend (I'm kind of guessing I'm about half way through at this stage) and having a fantastically claustrophobic & scary time with it! ;D
I genuinely felt moments of panic in attempts to avoid the dogs roaming around.

Very much looking forward to Black Plague. Have you made any additions or changes for the episode 2 release based on feedback?

Glad to hear you are enjoying the game! Better late than never

We have indeed made additions and changes based on feedback from gamers, reviewers and our own thoughts. Some of the big changes is probably that we felt the combat design backfired quite a bit, so that has been redesigned to embrace more adventuring and exploring and less fighting.

Levels was critiqued for being empty and dull at times so in BP levels are more varied and we have tried to add as much detail to them as possible.

The story is more compact and driving throughout the game and we have many more voice actors to increase the overall quality of story telling.

And the most important, puzzles. This time around we have concentrated on creating more puzzles that use the physics and less that are inventory based in the sense of combine and use items on object X.

Yeah, I'm a bit on the late (some might say slow! :P) side - PO had been on my 'To Buy' list for ages.

Good to hear you've taken on board a lot of your feedback. To be honest, I'm mostly happy with a lot of the gameplay in PO anyway (although I did suffer a clumsy arm trying to whack one of the dogs which, of course, caused even more panic!). Can't wait!
