Hello my fellow RGC-ers!


True teamwork and teamplay, will have to be shown if you want to win this. DotA staff from all regions join us, for this tournament of glory. We decided to have some fun, and to get to know each other better, so we could recognize every member of the big RGC family. It's time to show some skills in the game.



We welcome you all to the RGC Staff Tournament!!

Every region and every room with staff is invited, to show their teamwork and also their skill in DotA.

Room founders or head admins, will pick their "staff team" , a user can't play for two staff teams, he will have to choose one team and stick with it. Any staff rank is allowed to play, and everyone is welcome.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION :

- There is no slot limit

- Tournament will have 3 parts, one for Asia, one for Philippines, one for Europe!

- We will alow 2 teams from the same channel, because many channels have lots of staff

- 1 User = 1 Staff channel, he can't play for other staff channels(Exception : Only girls from girls gaming can play in two teams 1. GirlsGaming team 2. Any other team)

- Games are 5vs5

- Game mode is -RD

- Tournament is "Elimination" , meaning if you lose one game you are out

- All players will be vouched in the room Staff.Tours , please join it.

1st Place In Any region (Asia, Europe, and PH )

Philippines ->> 1st AUGUST 2012 --- 7PM PHILIPPINES TIME

Rest of Asia ->> 3rd AUGUST 2012 --- 8PM +8 GMT

Europe with South America and Middle East ->> 5th of August 2012 -- 3PM CET

RULES :

General Rules

Behaviour

Participating players must always have good manners and respect other players and the Admin staff/organization. A player may receive a warning, default loss or disqualification if one of they commit any of the following:

✦ if they added a player that is not staff, or falsified his rank, to get him to play✦ refuses to follow tournament official rules
✦ uses insulting language
✦ makes fun of the opponent or the admin staff
✦ shows an unsporting behavior
✦ tries to scam admins
✦ disobeying admins

In any of the above cases, if admins are not present, the game has to be played till the end and the replay/screens be sent to the admins for investigation. For reports contact an admin and hand over possible indications.


Observers

Only the following observers are allowed:
- Admins and officially allowed members (assigned by admin/staff). Letting admins observe on request is mandatory. The penalty for not letting an admin join a game is Game Loss or Disqualification. Basically, observers will be chosen by Superman and Aphrodite!
-Save on fb,tower and every 5 min.


Penalties

Player Warning: After a warning is given, the game goes on. If a player accumulates 2 warnings during a tournament, he will be disqualified.


Game Loss: Game loss given to a player means that they lose the current game no matter what the result of that game is. A win would be awarded to the opponent instead.

Disqualifications
A disqualified player will be ejected from the tournament. They will not be able to take part any further in the current event.

Ingame Rules

Item restrictions :

- Fortification is allowed.
- Buybacks are allowed.

Pause/Resume Abuse (Warning or Game Loss):

You may pause at the beginning of the game to decide bans and drafts. Once that is done, the game must be unpaused.
From this point on, pausing without any valid reason is disallowed. Resuming the game without the other player confirming that they are ready is not allowed either. Players that are constantly pausing or resuming to ruin the game will receive a game loss. If someone pauses the game without a valid reason, he will receive a warning.

The game has to be played till the end in any situations and the replay/screens be sent to the admins for investigation.
*** If the game did not crash, then the game has to be played until the end and the replay be sent to the admins for investigation.
Disconnects:
eams are persuaded to save their games frequently during a match in order to compensate for disconnections (every 5th - 10th minutes). Both teams have the right to request a save after big team collisions and when at least one building was destroyed.


The game shall be saved after players get heroes to be able to load it if any problems happened.

Disconnect before the first Blood:
match load from the first save.

Disconnect after the first hero has been killed:
If a save game has been made within the last 10 minutes, then consult the rule below. If not then the game continues without the disconnected player.
If the game was saved less than 10 minutes before the disconnection of a player, then the game has to be reloaded unless:

The team losing their player wants to continue without a reload
The other team destroyed at least one rax and they wish to continue.
if neither team is in advantage then an admin should be consulted, unless teams can agree to a decision by themselves.


It is allowed to use a disconnected hero, but it is not allowed to give his items to other players. The items may either stay on the disconnected hero, or be sold so the money is dispersed among the remaining players. Consumables are allowed to be used up.
