Dreamz Media Group announced The DotA 2 Champions League's second season today, featuring the best teams in Western competition and a prize pool of more than $50,000. DotA 2 ticket sales will increase the prizes by $2.5 per ticket, as well as provide full access to the tournament and a custom hero-set for Pudge.

The D2CL Season II includes the first through sixth place finishers from last season, qualifying teams ru Empire and ru Virtus.Pr, fan-requested ru Rox.Kis, and the administration-invited Power Rangers. All games will be broadcast on Dailymotion by joinDOTA, with Russian commentary available from Aren (VeRsuta) Zurabyan.

D2CL league administrator Artem Bikov stated, "An experienced team of organizers that works on season two of the D2CL leaves no doubt in my mind about the tournament’s success.[...] Our viewers will be pleasantly surprised by the new level of high-quality content, as well as by the numerous competitions and surprises we’ve prepared for them.”
