Sponsorship and EEDL Structure Changes

Some of you may be wondering if our former sponsor, Giga.net, have payed for last seasons winner, which was Aidar. We can now finally confirm that they are paying for the first season, which was a total of $150. The person who was said to be aiding EEDL with this money, Sean "TekniQz" Michael Mascarenhas, has told us too many lies, which leads us to no prize money from Giga.net for this second season. TekniQz has thus left the staff of EEDL after all of this controversy since he was the Giga.net representative to EEDL.

EEDL are currently on the search for another sponsor which is focused on European events, and can supply what they are said to be supplying. This is the end of our partnership with Giga.net, but not our relationship with them, we are still thankfull to them for the first season!

We have also made a few changes to the league rules and structure. Admins have put the power in the hands of the players. From now on only the vouchers can vouch or unvouch a player depending on their performances. With this new change we will also start filtering out the players who aren't EEDL material, giving them a chance to re-apply at a later date.
