The Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge Shanghai has finally ended with many interesting matches. The event went very good and the Chinese fans were very happy.

The Chinese counter-Strike team, Tyloo.raw finished second after losing to fnaticMSI in the final.

The Warcraft III event was dominated by Koreans where both WeMadeFOX players, June 'Lyn' Park and Jang 'Moon' JaeHo respectively finished at the first and third place while the new EHOME recruit, Sung Sik 'ReMinD' Kim took the second place. The famous Chinese human player, Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li was not able to compete with the Koreans and ended up this tournament with 1 win and 2 loses.

There were only Chinese DotA teams in this event as StarsBoba could not attend and there were some surprises. EHOME won the event by taking down ToT in the final whereas the favourite of the event, LGD.sGty finished third after their victory in the small final against Deity. Is it the end of 2009 as a player?

The final ranking looks as follow:
