Default About thread revival: posting time limit

Recently, there has been an outbreak of the phenomenon called 'Necroposting'. This occurs when members post in threads that haven't been updated in a long time.
To prevent this from happening, we have decided to add a time limit to threads:
If a thread has not been updated in the last 60 days (2 months), it will be automatically closed down.
-If the thread starter or a third person would want to revive the thread for important reasons, they ought to contact a moderator to re-open it. But only then.
-This rule does not apply in the following sections:
    >News
    >Announcements
    >Polls
    >Sections that have their own staff query (such as RGC and any DotA Clan)

I'm leaving the thread open for discussion/feedback for this rule.

    Regards,
    MyMGN Staff.

    Arrow Opinion.

Apparently people don't notice the dates on each thread much and this as a result leads to the phenomenon that we call "Necroposting".
Users of the MyMGN and staff members should pay attention to the thread dates, and any online moderators should shut down threads that exceed the 2 month+ time limit.
    Sincerely:
    The MyMGN staff
