If you mean which is my favorite anime i think i can't choose.
I think Naruto+One piece=Favorites.

Genres.

For me no.1 is Horror/Mystery Animes.
Why?Cause Anime can bring you pictures/Emotions/Music etc much better than an original film.
I love Anime where the main character is "clever" and like to search things.

An example is Death Note ,Chaos Head or Monster/Elfen Lied.
Recently i found out "Another" Which is very Good as Well.

2nd is Kawai/Action Animes.

This includes Fate Stay Night/Shakugan No Shana/Claymore.

They are all similar with the same storyline.
(A boy who meets with a girl whom has super-powers) At first she doesnt like him but time after time they get to know each other much better and sometimes she trains him to fight as well.

3nd Overrated,Mainstream animes.

Yes the all famous DBZ,Yu-gi-oh,Pokemon and the 3 most known animes.

(I call them the 3 Greats)
One piece
Bleach
Naruto.

They have the same Story-Structure.
A boy who finds some nakama in order to travel and beat other guys to become the strongest.
This set of animes have more than 500 episodes.

I watched only Bleach ( Now im ep327 or something.)

and much, much more.
Why : Really I can't find words to describe awesomeness.

Genre
Well above anime state my favorite genre, despite of that I must tell that in past 2 months I discover something that all this time I thought that is was crap and for girls, only.
Romance/comedy. I really enjoyed watching : Lovely Complex , Skip Beat! , Itazura na Kiss and more.

my favourite animes had all awesome main characters!
the character must be really clever and cunny and i love the secret-dark backrounds :D

Some of my favourite animes are Deathnote, Code Geass, Claymore, Higurashi no naku Koro ni, FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood(maybe the best anime in my opinion), Kiba, Elfen Lied, D-Gray Man, Soul Eater!!

Of course as G.Virus said there are the overestimated animes, which I also enjoy (i just read the latest manga now)
One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball Z, Fairy tail!!!

Oh the funniest anime ever GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA!!

I like all the anime types but prefer the "smart" anime! I've been recently watching "Stein's Gate"

I like pretty much every anime I watch that isn't outright pointing at hentai and doesn't have a million-match-made storyline.

I started off like everyone else here, more or less, and lately I've been more into 'slice of life' type of anime.
My all-time favorites: Bleach, Clannad, Code Geass, Death Note, Full Metal Panic (not alchemist, people), Ranma 1/2 and the list goes on.

Action/Adventure would be the best genre for me.
But any genre is fine with me, as long as I get to witness something spontaneous! :cool:

yeah power rangers is sentai :D Saban company (I think) bought copyright to remake Super Sentai to Power Rangers :D
