Wow, I just saw this movie SLiTHER, and I must say that it is very exciting to see a good old fashioned horror gross-out film again (for the first time in about 15 years :P). It just opened in the US and stars Elizabeth Banks and Nathan Fillion, and I recommend it for anyone.
The story is about an alien life form riding on a meteor that crashes into a small southern US town. It then posses one of the curious townsfolk, who goes on the create a whole army of alien slugs that can posses people if they crawl in their mouth. I would say the gore level of this film is medium compared to most horror, but ugh the SLIME. Slime is everywhere in this film! Horror is always better when it is not just scary, but disgusting :P.
Not sure if/when Europe gets it, but it is a must see for fans of sci-fi/horror.
