Welcome everybody!
We will be glad to answer any question about 'Clever&Smart' and our new huge project 'The Abbey'.

Who is Alcachofa Soft?
Alcachofa Soft is an Spanish development company that is creating graphic adventures since 1995.
With more than 10 games released, Alcachofa has made its place in the graphic adventure scene.
Now we hope 'The Abbey' make our work will be known worldwide. Thanks to Crimson Cow, this hope may come true.

I've seen the screenshots just now, Wow.

Is this game going to be 2.5D ? 3d characters in 2d hand drawn background like it seems ?
What engine do you use to create the game ?

Oded.

Thanks to our system production based on storyboarding we use 2D or 3D, no problem with it, just by looking each shot and choose the best option.
Our graphic engine it is developing in Alcachofa under the supervision of Daniel Iborra, our programming chief

Hmm, I'm not sure if I got this right. Does this mean that you will use 2D in some scenes, and 3D in others? Won't that be difficult to make the game look coherent in a stylistic point of view???

Well. The truth is that since we started with the production of The Abbey I've got no time for playing other games. But if you are interested, my all time favorite game is The Secret of Monkey Island (1 and 2).
Next year things will be different :)

Fortunately there is enough place in adventure escene for two fantastic games like A Vampyre Story and The Abbey. You'll be able to buy both and... everbody will be happy. :)

Of course, everybody who buys BOTH games will be TWICE as happy as anyone buying only ONE of them! ;D
