Hey,
I'm very excited to announce for the first time ever our new game : Pizza Morgana

Our latest project is a charming tale of a young girl who is accidentally teleported into a magical dimension of monsters, vampires, fairies and demons. With her guide in this magical land, she goes on adventures through the chaotic fantasy world of TerraMagia, while being pursued by the evil High Council, which is trying to stop the pizza delivery business for their own sinister reasons...

“Pizza Morgana: Episode One” (currently in Alpha development stage) will tell the tale of how Jackie ended up in TerraMagia in the first place, and will introduce the character of her guide, Abbie the Pizza Delivery Vampire.

We will be putting up the game's website soon, and you can expect the first episode available early 2008.


I'll be posting some visual goodies in a second.

What would you like to know ?

And No : the character of the lovely vampire Abbie Positive wasn't influenced by Mona from A vampire story.
Pizza Morgana is actually a children's book that was published in Hebrew a few years ago. and we're adapting it into a game now.

Do you have any official agreements with the authors of the book? Have you signed any publisher or you'll distribute it by yourself?

And isn't this book too similar to Simon the Sorcerer theme? :-)

Of course, Uri, the genius comic artist behind the book is actually making all the 2D art for the games!

We'll start by digitally distributing it by ourselves. We're talking to many publishers about further possibilities.

Why do you think it's similar ::) ?

I mean, Simon is a boy, AND he's a sorcerer !
Jackie is girl, and she's not a sorcerer.

Simon is a lot more like Harry Potter than Jackie, isn't he?

Though the comic-book follows the story of Jackie and her adventures, remaking it into a game allowes us to make any character we like a playable character!
Of course, this opens up very interesting possibilities (in terms of adventure game puzzles) and a broader game experience for the player.

There's something to say about the popularity of the normal world people meet the magical world genre, and the similarities of these to each other but we have a brand new take on it with our story!

I mean - How many of those characters delivery magical Pizza ?
