"1.9 Switching Players
The owner may choose to use the -so command and enable !switch in a game.If he chooses so then the rule below applies: The switch command is strictly to be used in cases of 5v3 – 4v2 games only, in case of refusal to switch the game owner is entitled to end the game. If there is not a player that voluntarily wants to switch then you should use the –roll command. The player who will switch side is the one with the lowest rolling number."


H λέξη κλειδί εδώ είναι το MAY , ο owner ΜΠΟΡΕΙ να επιλέξει -so εαν το θέλει αλλά μπορεί και όχι, εάν το δώσει -so τότε ισχύει ότι γίνεται switch ή end , Ο admin έπραξε σωστά κατά την γνώμη μου , ούτε αναγκασμένος να δώσει -so είναι και φυσικά δεν θα κάνει end στο 40

I take it admins are allowed to add -so to the game if they choose the mode to allow switching should the teams get uneven (5v3 or 4v2 for example).

When I admin a pub game on hostbot 9 or 10 wich are listed as AR games, I usually spoofcheck and swap myself to spot 1 to ensure the correct mode is selected. Since switch is disabled by default on 6.60, I start the game as -arso to enable people to switch. Usually there are at least 2-4 leavers on the public games, so it's very welcome to still be able to switch.

Am I correct to do this, or is it advised to just do -ar instead of -arso?

All that you said are more than correct, my oppinion is that the -so should always be selected so you can have at least the possibility of switching in case that a leave has occurred.

I want to add that the use of -so is optional, but for northrend games, it should be highly reccomended.
