First of all download steam from here (http://store.steampowered.com/about/) and create an account here (https://store.steampowered.com/join/?)
After If you want to play LFD / LFD2 you can follow these steps :
1)Open The Steam
2)Go to Store
3)Search For Left 4 dead / Left 4 dead 2
4)Click It
5)Down From The Video The Is An Option An Option Add To Card
6)Click It
7)Choose the methode you want to pay
8)Pay by filling the gaps
9)Go to Library
10)Install It
11)Download the latest patch
12)Pree play and you are in the game.
