Suggesting for all Room Channels and GM & DM.

Hello, As you all know.. some channels are having a hard time advertising in other channels just to get some players to play in their Channels.

My suggestion is to have a room limit for every channel like 300 or 200 people per channel... so that people could play to the other channels too. This is also a great suggestion for all Gold and Diamond members which will have the great opportunity to have a VIP access to all rooms or should i say... they're exempted from the room limit.

I hope everyone could read this suggestion.. this is one of my proposal to the RGC community. To have every channels have an opportunity to have players "play" on their respective channels. And Sir. Roger should take note of this.

Your suggestion wouldn't work for a number of reasons. One, you'd risk RGC becoming a carbon copy of garena which no one wants and two it'd be a complete nightmare trying to moderate all of those channels.

Personally, I believe the reason why a lot of channels, apart from pubs, don't have a lot of players is because what they offer is pretty much redundant. Play x amount of games, win this, or gather a certain amount of wins and you'll get that. Don't get me wrong that's good to see but barely do any channels try to be a bit more creative in their approach.

Reason is that there is no competitive scene in dota 1, all decent players moved to dota 2. RGC is a place where mediocre players can have fun playing pub games at public channels, there is no reason to have leagues since leagues were previously supported by players who already moved to d2. In short, if you want to play competitive - hs games and you are interested in improving your skills move to d2 and the leagues there.

If you want someone to play in your channel, you should do it by making your channel filled with high skilled staff and attractive to other players, and not by force.

There are no channels which have more than 200 people ( except public channels ) they're like extinct and even if this idea is implemented there won't be any use as no channel ( leagues ) has more players or games.
