After the great success of AEDL and EEDL, Sean ‘TekniqZ’ Michael will open a new league for Oceania players. Not much suspense about the name of it, Oceania Elite DotA League (OEDL).
Contrary to the EEDL league, there will be prizes for the top 5 players of the season; this is the thing that will motivate the players to reach the top 5. Moreover, the top 5 players in OEDL will get a vouch in AEDL as well as EEDL; they will also be promoted to Premium members on Garena for a month to reward them for their good performances.
Here is a statement by Sean ‘TekniqZ’ Michael.
"With AEDL and EEDL being such a success, the Elite DotA leagues are now announcing OEDL which will add an oceanic section enabling the best oceanic players to battle for supremacy. Not only this but the announcement of the AEDL/EEDL show match in which two Asian and two euro power houses will provide great entertainment for the world to see, I am extremely thankful to the dedication of the AEDL and EEDL admins and hope to see more success in the future. As for all of those questioning the validity of Vigoss, I can say with confidence it is the real Vigoss. Stay tuned for something big."
The new league is set to start on the 20th of June, so be prepared to face the best players in Oceania. To make things interesting, there may be a show match before the league starts between AEON.sg and Nirvana.Int so stay tuned for more information.
