The Wall Street Journal revealed that Activsion spent more than $100 Million developing StarCraft II.
However, the video games sales are in a slump, no need to say that Blizzard Entertainment have a lot of high expectations for their second opus.
It is very hard to imagine that they will do benefit with this game when we know how expensive it was to produce it. They expect to send several million units this year.
"There is no shortage of consumers for 'Starcraft'," Activision Chief Executive Bobby Kotick said in an interview last month.
