The first major StarCraft II tournament will be played during the Intel Extreme Masters in Germany.
During the first big offline tournament for StarCraft II, 16 players will fight for a prize purse of $15,000. Six players players will be able to participate in this event through Go4Sc2 #24 and #25 which respectively take place on Wednesday 28 July and Sunday 1st August. The three best players for both cups will be qualified for the Intel Extreme Masters.
What about the ten other slots? The organizers will invite ten players regarding their results during the beta. Nonetheless, you can still send your application to masters.application@esl.eu if you want to play this event and face the best at Gamescom.
