Yesterday, we reported that the Counter-Strike team from H2K-Gaming would leave the organization due to the relationship between both parties.

It turns out that H2K-Gaming denied this information and they released a statement regarding these rumors.

"Dear H2k Community, fans and other readers,

We hereby want to deny any rumors that have been spread out by several websites that our Counter-Strike 1.6 team would leave the organization.

We also would like to mention that our aforementioned team is still on contracts for another period of 9 months.

We would like to stress out that you do not always need to believe news posts made on community websites. Official H2k news will always be on our website (www.H2k-Gaming.eu) , if you don’t read it on our website, then it is not confirmed nor official.

We are also denying our team is sold to someone in Africa. This was completely a (5 minutes) made up story to proof you how ridiculous some community websites are.

We, H2k and their Counter-Strike 1.6 team hereby would like to thank you, the fans, for all the support we are receiving the last few weeks. Our team will certainly stick together under our organization and you will be able to see them in action at the WCG Nordic Finals.

Sincerely,

Gaetan Van der Eecken (PR & Communications Director)
Steven Vander Paelt (Marketing Director)
Jerry Wikkeling (Chief Operations Officer)
Rudy Van der Reest (Chief Executive Officer)"
