There are already million people playing StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty but there are surely a lot of beginners. Some of them probably never played the first edition of StarCraft, and there are probably people who never played a strategy game.
Blizzard released a series of videos to help newcomers to StarCraft II. Among the 5 videos they released, there are three videos that you should not miss if you want to improve in StarCraft II.
1. You must first learn the basics of the game,so watch the first video entitled "What is StarCraft II?"
2. As soon as you are done with the first video, watch the one related to the gameplay, "Gameplay overview"
3. You can now finish this series with the campaign video called "Campaign overview"
It looks like there are still two video that we cannot watch but which will surely be very interesting. The first video concerns the three races of the game namely Protoss, Terran and Zerg. The second video will talk about the campaign in StarCraft and StarCraft II.
