The problem is that you can't host, right ?

I actually suppose :

Your computer got a static LAN IP (Forced manually or by MAC Address with your router)
You routed your hosting port (usually 6112 / TCP) to your LAN IP
(hosting port can be found in the Warcraft 3 options)
You are sure that all possible firewall are turned off
Your linksys is the only router on your network (i.e Internet box are routers too)

Check this all again, if I remember something else I'll tell you :) !

Static LAN or Web ? or both ?
Knowing he have a static LAN IP mean you know him physically, that's right ?
Static web IP is really often linked with box ( web + TV + phone + router).
That's the French case, dunno the current provider type in other country.

To find out if you have a static IP do the following steps:

1. Open "Run". Should be listed in your Start list, otherwise just search for it.
2. type cmd
3. in the Command window type, ipconfig/all
4. If DHCP is Activated (Yes/No) you have a dynamic IP. If it says "No", you have a static IP.

If DHCP is Activated (Yes/No) you have a dynamic IP. If it says "No", you have a static IP.
Wrong, you can have a static IP, by using your DHCP server (router) and the MAC address of your network card.
A LAN IP could be forced by the computer (DHCP OFF + PC config) or by the router (DHCP ON + router config)

My DHCP is on, but when my Ethernet card ask for an IP, the router recognize its MAC address and give the same LAN IP all the time.

It renews internet-wise but remains static at LAN?
