Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. This Diablo II account was detected using a third-party program (hack) on Battle.net and has been permanently closed.
We regret having to employ such measures but feel that certain illegal game activities and programs - as detailed in the Battle.net Terms of Use and End User License Agreement - impair the game for the community as a whole.
If you are unaware of any such programs running on your system, we would strongly recommend scanning your computer for viruses and other malicious content before connecting to Battle.net again. Furthermore, we would advise caution when accessing Battle.net from a computer other than your own and ask that you do not share your account details with any other parties.
Once the account expires, it will be possible for anyone to create a new account with the same name. We cannot delete or expire the account manually and we will not be able to retrieve any characters, items, or account information (including Friends List).
If you are receiving the error message, "your CD-Key is disabled from realm play" when trying to join or create a realm game, this indicates that the CD-Key installed on your system has been temporarily or permanently banned from playing realm games on Battle.net. Even though the CD-Key is restricted from playing realm games, you are still able to play Open Battle.net games. First time offenders are banned from realm play for one month and repeat offenders are banned from realm play permanently.
We will not be able to reopen the closed account or supply any additional information beyond what is indicated in this email.
Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Best regards,
Luke E.
