Sending results

"When you finish a game and press “Exit to main menu” in Warcraft III, DotArank will minimize Warcraft III window, automatically will open Internet Explorer window (or other browser which is set as default) and display a page with results (if you are not logged in, the welcome page will be displayed)."

This does not happen to me, could it be because I've Opera as main browser?

Try to set IE as your default browser.

Hmm you seem to have problems with that.

I don't know what programming language you're using, but wouldn't it be easier to have an IE plugin in DotArank that is invisible to the user and will automatically submit results?

Pros
User wouldn't have to get disturbed by a browser window opening up and could keep playing warcraft.
-> This can get annoying for users with low-end machines.

It would avoid bugs with result transmission for those people that don't use IE as a default browser.



Cons
Depends on the programming language how easy/difficult that would be to implent, I don't think it would cause too much trouble.

Setting it to IE did fix it btw.
