i'm a former mod of PH channel but what that i'm concerned its that PH mods are not really that knowledgeable.

They said that timeban is IP ban.
And for what i knew is that compban == ip ban right.

and my fellow RGC users believed that too.

well if thats the case i guess PH channel will be like a Kangaroo channel.

and one question rogers.

then 50-55% of the users are using static IP
then one of those quits and mods/admin banned his/her IP.

will that result to the loss of 50% of users of RGC

I still don't get what you are trying to say.
Anyway, Timeban is ip ban in specific channels like Philippines.
Whereas, Compban is ip ban in the entire RGC i.e the banned user can't even login.

i think you have been mis interpreted it master.

if IP ban was implemented. then whenever i create an account for example my other acc. is banned.

the server would terminate all packets i'm sending to its thus this is IP ban. Therefore, whenever i create an account it would never access that certain channel

The issue here is not really the IP ban, static IP nor Dynamic IP. The issue here is most users, particularly at PH Channels, are playing in Internet/Computer ​ ​shops as most, if not all, are still students. Hence, if a user is banned, the computer he just used is banned, and then another user comes in and takes the place of the banned user. If this happens, the new user can't play since his unit is banned.

And this is the issue with most users here in the Philippines.

In RGC, we focus on providing a good gaming experience for the players. Increasing the number of players isn't our top priority. This is what makes RGC different from Garena.
