RGC should not accept in-active leagues at all.

League owners who can't afford Hosting/Domain
It takes literally 3 seconds to setup your subdomain with it's forum
"YourLeagueName.rankedgaming.com"
League owners will get FTP access over the subdomain only (Theme/Plugin installs)

Staff responsible to all leagues
RGC assigned staff should keep an eye over all the leagues watching it's activity.
Active leagues will be added to the RGC Room List.
In-active leagues will be removed from entire RGC.

The main problem on RGC is now too many leagues for low ppl... best times was like 1 year ago 1 skilled league - DPL and nothing more.

That client actually failed because of inactivity and abusive rooms.

On the other hand, consider "X" used a hacked paypal or stolen credit card to purchase Domain + Hosting.
It will be shutdown within 3 hours for good providers and a max. of 72 hours for the minor providers.
Fraud is caught easily. There's no need to be worried of the "Domain Hacking Activity" as DNS is very secured from how it was 6-7 years ago.

My suggestion is a beast ! TROLL :P

All you have mentioned, has been considered in 80 percent of cases, when leagues are created. But you have to separate private channels, from leagues, because there is a big difference.

A guy pm'd me today, he has over 200 active users on IRC and wants his league on RGC, doesnt have a forum, nor a site, because they operate over irc bots, with stats and everything. Does that mean we cant work with him? Second case, guys who have over 500 users, and an active website + IRC channel, + a known league, asks me for a channel, i open it for him, he doesnt do crap, and we delete the channel.

There are numerous factors to consider when you open a league, i won't say there havent been some fails in time, but every1 who wants to work with RGC will get a chance. But there are rules, and requirements which we have in order to open a league for someone, and i think you all know them.

Trust me, its always more than just that !support , explain why you support something, and what you would like to add, but put yourself into the position of a fresh league owner on a new client. Then we can talk.

If League "X" is already known for it's gamers motivation and is already active then he can get +100 Likes on his room request thread within minutes ;) . You're right on everything you said except of the percentage, it's way lower than that.
I don't want to name the leagues that just got opened recently or from before that are a pretty useless. As for the current leagues that are still alive on RGC.
The ones that are inactive and useless should be immediately removed what so ever the case is.

Leagues on RGC should be unique. Personally, I'm fed up with new leagues popping out of nowhere each and every week.

About the chances for league owners, uhmm the point is RGC should be made for BETA TESTING your league management skills.
If they have no idea what they are doing, and don't have supports for the leagues. It shouldn't open in the first place.

A league owner can't currently afford a domain/hosting package, he can freely use the subdomain of rankedgaming.com.
For example let's say a new league called SUPPORT wants to open with no money in hand.
You can setup a forum board for him using Fantastico within seconds and give him his private FTP access over the subdomain that will be support.rankedgaming.com

You're a normal RGC Gamer that wants to join a good league.
You check out the leagues on RGC , they are wayyy tooo loaded !
A Gamer can't choose or know which league to play at because of the massive leagues being created.

And Yes cratus, my league "EAL" has been some what of a "Advertising" room to the league owners, since EAL is one the most active leagues on RGC, some people come trash and troll around to advertise their own league.

Anyways, if you think on the positive side of the story. Imagine you having a new domain name
"EDL.rankedgaming.com"
That would be definitely nice ! I advise you to support my idea.

Must admit, I disagree with this. For smaller leagues/inhouses/communities/whatnot this might be hard to reach, I suggest something like - n weeks of no games = league closed, where n = {4;5;6;7;8}

Official Domain (.com/.net/.org) If you make this mandatory, then there should be staff who will make this available for leagues, since I don't see why the creator of a league (especially if they are not 'official channels') should have the individual onus of finding and setting up a web domain.

err this sounds overly dependent on your general influence within the client and as said before sounds easy to abuse with random supps etc

This threshold is much too high. Especially if you consider that the general majority of players in MS+ leagues are likely to be students who will be more inactive during exam season therefore temporarily rendering an otherwise active league as inactive. Something like this would have to be monitered over a long period of time or allow considerations for potential seasonal inactivity O_o.

I think it takes a little longer than this if you want it to look half decent or professional showing some sort of standardized league rules at a minimum. If this does go through there needs to be a sticky thread with a tutorial

Hmm there would need to be at least 3 judges to decide something like this. However I guess people can always relaunch leagues so I don't know how effective this would prove in practice. That and I'm not too sure if it's that much of a problem with official and unofficial channels and the fact that any league you randomly get vouched into you can just ask for an unvouch.

I mean you can just ask for unvouch in leagues you don't want to be a part of, or just remove it from ur auto join list. I don't know if it causes any practical problems like clogging up servers or the network in RGC enough to cause some extra potential delay or something. Would be nice for leagues to have a domain though, just to allow you to know what they stand for, what skill level they are reaching out to and their general rules etc. But there are definately some good points from bitchgotraped that I agree should be implemented. So semi-support xD

Elaborate on what the problem is. A description of it being 'chaotic' in my opinion doesn't warrant the measures that would have to be implemented as a solution. You think it is cluttering the sidebar of your RGC? You think leagues are being created left right and centre without any professionalism? You find it annoying that you are suddenly vouched in places you didn't want to be? You find it confusing as to which leagues you should apply to for your skill level and what they offer since that information is not clearly stated?
